AUML (ASX: AYM) is a public company listed on ASX and engages in the exploration and development of mineral properties in New South Wales and Queensland, Australia. The company primarily explores for gold, copper, silver, and nickel ores.
The principal activity of AUML is exploration and development activity on its tenements in NSW and QLD.
Strategy
The Company is currently focused on its three main NSW projects Sofala, Karangi and Honeybugle and the Forsayth Project in QLD.
AUML and its wholly owned subsidiaries hold a 100% registered interest in three granted mineral tenements in QLD and four granted exploration licenses in NSW.
AUML in 2016
During 2016, AUML continued with progressing permitting at its NSW projects while at the same time significantly reducing the company’s ongoing exploration and administration expenses.
The results of the drilling program conducted at the Forsayth Project in QLD are currently being reviewed with the aim to design a further drilling program to define a JORC compliant resource.

An adventurous entrepreneur, the Chairman of Australia United Mining, the founder of Guangxi Orient Foundation Industrial Park Development (The company is principally engaged in industrial park planning, production and marketing of nonferrous metals, marble and calcium carbonate) and the CEO of Gansu Zhongyuan Huaxia Energy Investment (The company is principally engaged in the mining and operation of gold and copper)

Ms Yu holds a Bachelor of Political Science and Law Degree and has passed the British Association of Chartered Certified Accountants exam in the People’s Republic of China. She is currently an Executive Officer with the Oriental Foundation Investment Group, a large company based in Beijing with interests in real estate, the mineral industry, the energy sector and the finance sector.
Tao Wang has extensive experience in energy and resource industry. He is the General Manager of Gansu Zhongyun Huaxia Energy Investment Limited Company, which was incorporated in 2006 and has specialised in investments in utility and mineral industries. He has rich management and investment experience, and also extensive contacts and keen market insight. During the past three (3) years, Mr Wang has not served as a director on any other Australian public company.
